Fisker Karma Hybrid Sports Car

Fisker Karma is a hybrid sports car with sleek and luxury design. This environmentally friendly car is powered by Q-Drive, a system developed by Quantum Technologies that combines a four-cylinder engine sending power to a generator to propel the four-door sedan. Fisker claims that Karma can perform at 0-60 mph in 6 seconds, top speed of 125 mph, pretty cool for a hybrid car . Fisker Karma has two different modes, “Stealth Drive” which is a pure electric mode and “Sports Mode” which integrates the four-banger for peak performance, and according to Fisker, this will make the Karma sound like a combination of a jet fighter and an F1 car.

Concept car designer Liviu Tudoran has designed an eco-friendly electric car for Peugeot that complements the Lion image that we see in the car brand’s logo. New Volvo V40 Five-Door Hatchback

No more hiding for the all-new Volvo V40 as a pair of what we believe to be the first official photos of the premium compact model made their way online today via a Polish magazine's Facebook page. The slinky five-door hatchback is scheduled to make its first public outing at the 2012 Geneva Auto Salon at the beginning of March. The design of Volvo's new model is a mix of styling elements seen on the S60 series, especially up front and at the rear end, with a profile that looks like a lower interpretation of the Swedish automaker's crossover models such as the XC60 and XC90. Previously leaked information mentions that the V40 will measure 4,500 mm or about 177-inches in length, making it only 20 mm or 0.77-inches shorter than the V50 station wagon, which it will most likely replace when it arrives in the market later this year. Volvo Recalling Close to 3,000 S60 and XC60 Models

If you happen to own a 2012 Volvo S60 sedan and/or a XC60 crossover in the States, there's a good chance you'll soon receive a recall letter from the Swedish automaker because of a potential fire risk. "An incorrect mixture of underbody coating and over-application can result in rigid, icicle-like areas hanging from vehicle’s undercarriage," read Volvo's document posted on the website of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. "If this condition exists, the underbody coating may penetrate the fuels lines and cause fuel leakage, increasing the risk of a fire" Volvo said that the S60 sedans affected were produced between January 10, 2012, and February 3, 2012, while the X60 models were made from January 10 to 26, 2012. Overall, the safety recall concerns 2,742 S60 and XC60 models. The company said its dealers will inspect the vehicle undercarriage, and if they find excessive underbody coating in the fuel...
